Mrs. AMY Hope Friedman; Head Teacher, bnos aliya elementaryMrs. Amy Freidman graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in Economics and History. She earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degrees at New York University, where she also served as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Economics. After law school she joined Cravath, Swaine & Moore in the Corporate Department.
Mrs. Freidman discovered Montessori when her eldest child was about to enter nursery school. For many years, while practicing law and raising her four children, she remained a fan of all things Montessori. In 2016 she decided to pay attention to her heart’s desire and enrolled full-time in the nine-month primary certification program offered by the renowned Association Montessori International at the Montessori Training Center Northeast. In 2017 and 2018 she pursued further training in lower elementary Montessori education at the Princeton Center for Teacher Education while simultaneously launching the inaugural year of Bnos Aliya. Mrs. Friedman has obtained training in limudei kodesh from our own Rabbi Jonathan Rietti. Mrs. Freidman studied Hebrew alongside her children at Ulpan Akiva in Netanya, Israel. She brings her love of Torah, Hebrew, and Israel to us. She is thrilled to be part of the ambitious vision that is Bnos Aliya. |
